The most courageous thing I have done was one day when I got home from school I rang the doorbell for my grandfather to let me in. He said he was coming I waited. He was on the floor I didn't know it at the time I was still waiting for him to open the door well he finally opened the door in his face you could just see he had not eaten anything or had anything to drink either. I helped him up I had him sit in a chair and then I called my mom she told me to get him some water and she would be there in a few minutes.. I had my grandfather drink a glass of water he drank the whole big glass of water. My mom called again asking me to ask my grandfather if he had eaten or taken his pills today. He said he couldn't remember so that what I told my mom. She said I’m going to get him some food can you keep an eye on him till I get there.   I said yes it didn't take my mom that long to get there she came in with the food and my grandfather ate. We waited until my grandmother got home and told her she said for him to go to bed. So he did the next day my uncle came and took him to the hospital the next thing we know my mom gets a call from my grandmother saying my grandfather had a stroke. It hit his left side of his brain so it affected his right which is the side for speaking, thinking, moving. He has gotten a lot better sense then he can talk better he can move his arms better too. I just hope he continues to do better. He is still not walking yet and he is at The Manor in Whitehall for rehab.

  1. This happened recently, didn't it? I hope he continues to get better. Good job springing into action.
